WHEN EMILY'S QUIET LIFE IS DISRUPTED BY A NOISY MUSICIAN MOVING IN NEXT DOOR, THE OUTCOME IS FAR FROM MUTED...

Mono is writer Richard Smith’s (Leonard, Trauma) directorial debut. Featuring the film debuts of Samantha Young and Ainslie Henderson, the short drama tells the story of two young city dwellers who find themselves living next door to each other, with just a wall dividing them.

Developed and commissioned through Digicult, a digital film project funded by the UK Film Council (New Cinema Fund), Scottish Screen and Glasgow Media Access Centre (GMAC), Mono was produced by Abigail Howkins, associate produced by Douglas Dougan and executive produced on behalf of UKFC and GMAC by Paul Welsh (Edge City Films) and Caroline Cooper Charles (Lifesize Pictures).

Mono was completed in April 2006 and is getting ready to hit the festival circuit.
